FAQsWill my skin breakout?
Please remember your skin may go through a PURGE stage (gets a bit worse before it gets better), This is because we have 2 different types of clays within the formula that are working together to draw the “nasties” to the surface (what would have come out anyway) then calming it down and healing it from the inside out. Speeding this whole process up for you. In 4 weeks you should be able to notice huge changes to your skin’s appearance.
Benefits of the thermal effect?
The reason behind applying the mask to a wet face is because water activates the thermal effect in our mask. The thermal effect will increase circulation in your skin allowing the clay to absorb deeper into the pores drawing out impurities better than any other mask on the market. The thermal effect will feel different for different people, regarding their skin type.on’t worry if you can’t feel it as much as others may say, everyone is different. Be prepared you might feel TINGLING, and it heats up, this will pass as the mask dries, know that it is working and getting the job done.
Is it normal for my face to appear red after use?
Yes, when you wash it off you might find your face starts to heat up again, this is because the water activates the thermal effect again. Once you wash it off let your face settle before applying other products straight after. If you appear a little bit RED, this is normal as you have just increased circulation in your skin, the redness will calm down and your complexion will appear brighter!
What products should I use AFTER the mask?
A hydrating serum ‘hyaluronic acid’ works well after using this product. Followed by Moisturiser and always finish with using an SPF if you are heading outside.
Benefits of green clay instead of pink?
Green clay is very strong in diving deep into the pores and works wonders at drawing out those impurities and toxins from the skin FAST. Which is why you may notice the purge phase. This clay is doing exactly what it is meant to, which is why it will draw them all out at once, instead of sporadically. It can be more recommended for oily skin types, but combined with the right BALANCE of other ingredients, I believe can work wonders on all skin types. Pink clay is more so recommended for every skin type, particularly sensitive and dry. It can help to restore and replenish the skin by locking in moisture and gently draw out impurities whilst lightly exfoliating the skin. I personally find it is more moisturising instead of deeply getting into the pores to draw out the nasties.
How long until I see results?
Girls have noticed results after their FIRST application. Most girls have seen very noticeable results after 1 week (2 x uses). Keep in mind that every person's skin is different.
Is this product natural & cruelty free?
We have Natural clays and extracts but we are not Vegan. Yes, We are animal cruelty free though! I wanted to make sure the ingredients were MAINLY natural, but I wanted to have REALLY good quality/strong ingredients like the AHA’s and BHA’s within our formula, because it gets the girls FAST and GREAT results. Our Thermal Clay Mask really seeps into the skin and does a great job because of the carefully selected and sourced ingredients.
What products should I use AFTER the mask?
A Toner is great to close the pores and prep the skin for any following products used on your skin, followed by a hydrating serum ‘hyaluronic acid’ works well after using this product. Also a Moisturiser if you don’t have a serum, and always finish with using an SPF if you are heading outside.
Please let your skin settle before applying ANY products STRAIGHT after use. Let it settle for about 10 minutes.
Be prepared other products you may apply after using this mask might feel like they burn a little, this is because you have DEEPLY exfoliated the skin and your skin will be getting use to this mask.
What if I don’t feel the thermal effect ?
EVERY person is different. Don’t worry if you can’t feel it as much as others may say, this doesn’t mean it isn’t working! Be prepared you might feel TINGLING, as it heats up, this will ease off as the mask dries, so please don’t wash it off unless it is UNBEARABLE! Just know that it is working and getting the job done.
Can I use this mask after getting derma planing or skin needling done?
I recommend you let your skin settle after ANY In-salon treatments, leave it settle for at least a week after nay in-salon treatments before using this mask, as the thermal effect might be too intense for you to handle.
How often do I use the Thermal Clay Mask?
For best results use it a minimum of 2 days per week. I like to mask on Wednesday and Sunday for example. Space it out 2 days a part. You can also use it as SPOT TREATMENT on pimples in between full face uses.
